It was a beautiful evening last night and I wandered down to Stowe Pool for a breath of fresh air after the last few days heavy driving. I wasn't going to take the camera but picked the camera bag up as I walked out the door and was glad I did.
Normally the Grebes sit off at a distance that is just beyond getting a reasonable photograph with the 300mm lens, however last night they decided to give me a break.
