As promised here is the first of hopefully many little histories.
Today's audio comes from the town of Warrington in Cheshire in the North West of England. It was an overcast and rather windy day and it seemed not to be the best place to be recording with some of the characters that were passing by so if the recording seems a little rushed in places it was for good reason! (Intro and Outro - Benedictus from Mass for Four Voices performed by the Virtual Byrd Choir)
No photographs I am afraid as I forgot to pack the camera - maybe this will be rectified at a later date on another working visit to the area.
